Rafael Llavori is head of the Unit for International Relations of ANECA. He is graduated in History at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and he also holds a Master in Modern Languages by the Universidad Complutense. In September 2009 he was elected as member of the Board of the European Association of QA Agencies of Higher Education, ENQA. 12 years in the private sector as a consultant on environmental impact assessments in the field of public works, QA procedures associated to environmental processes. He joined the Spanish National Agency for QA and Accreditation of Higher Education in January 2003, becoming the Head of the Unit in 2005.
